EMANZIPATION (EMZ) was founded in 1991 in Naestved, Denmark as a fanzine and released four issues in the period 1992 to
1994, tape traded like hell and made an international network in the extreme metal scene. In 1993 EMANZIPATION PRODUCTIONS was created but went on hiatus on 2000.
2020 sees the return of EMANZIPATION as an underground record label dedicated to old school extreme metal.

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names.

An excellent blend of black metal and death metal sounds. The whole thing is just a delightfully creepy listen! The dual vocal attack is great. There is a lot of tremolo in the guitar riffs, alternating between low and crushing tones and blistering high tones. Excellent album, beginning to end!

Slow, dark and gloomy as if giant mold ate the Earth alive. Great sound, great arrangements, great muscianship. The right amount of everything in every aspect. To my ears in this genre surprisingly colorful record. Great band deserving our attention!
